About the role

Join our dynamic Customer Success team as a Software Engineer for Application Support, where you’ll tackle complex technical challenges, dive deep into code, and collaborate on innovative solutions within the FintechOS platform.

What you’ll be doing

Advanced Issue Resolution:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 support, with a focus on FintechOS platform applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development teams, to address and resolve software challenges.
  • Manage resolution times for incoming support queries and maintain high Satisfaction Ratings.
  • Lead internal triage, escalation, incident, problem, and change management.
  • Ensure continuous follow-up on active queries for transparency and customer updates.
  • Collaborate with other support functions and teams to provide top-tier services.
  • Contribute to daily support ceremonies and coordinate external online meetings as needed.
  • Engage in giving and receiving constructive feedback regularly.

Collaboration in SDLC:

  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on advanced coding, debugging, and validation.
  • Work closely with developers to understand and support the technical aspects of application development on FintechOS.

Documentation and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain documentation throughout the software support life cycle.
  • Continuously improve software quality, security, and performance through collaborative efforts with the development team.

Technical Expertise and Development:

  • Stay informed about FintechOS platform updates and SDKs.
  • Understand web development and server-side rendering techniques.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in collaboration with development teams.

Partner Advocacy:

  • Advocate for customers by ensuring a smooth experience with FintechOS products.
  • Practice empathy in every interaction, using positive, professional language for flawless end-to-end communication.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technology problems.

What you’ll need

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in troubleshooting, data models, and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of web development languages (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and server-side technologies.
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases and their optimization.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with FintechOS platform, client and server SDKs.
  • Understanding of API design and development using REST, GraphQL, or SOAP.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical issues and solutions to non-technical colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of handling unforeseen situations effectively.
  • Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
  • Continuous learning mindset, especially in fintech and web development technologies.
  • Work Environment:
  • This role requires flexibility in hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
